An Open Day

A full day of movement, outdoors.

This workshop is an open invitation — to explore how you move, how you feel, and how you connect with others through physical practice.

Over four classes, we move through different disciplines, principles, and ideas. What you take from it is yours.

You'll leave with:

  • A deeper sense of freedom in your body

  • The experience of playful, collaborative practice

  • A full day outside, moving with others

This is for anyone willing to show up. No experience needed — just curiosity.

Each block balances structure, exploration, and integration.

Teachers

  • Adel Shiab

    Kinesiologist, Osteopath & Movement Teacher

In 2012, Adel graduated in kinesiology from the University of Montreal. He began his exploration of movement as a personal trainer in various gyms and, two years later, decided to study osteopathy to better understand the human body.

After completing his osteopathy studies in Montreal in 2019, he embarked on intense full-time research into Movement Practice. He is currently a student of @palozzo.marcello in the first cohort of "Human Movement Studies Program". He has been teaching classes to his community for over three years in Montreal and in Europe.

Recently, he opened his own space for movement practice and exploration in Montreal, "Movement Practice Montréal", providing his community with the opportunity to explore the curiosity that may arise regarding the body and its possibilities.

  • Toufic Geagea

Founder of Movement Circle Montreal and holds a BSc in Exercise Science.
His path began in sports, evolved through six years in fitness, and deepened with a growing love for improvisation and dance.

A pivotal moment came eight years ago when he encountered Ido Portal’s Movement Philosophy. This led him to further exploration and study with Marcello Palozzo in Austria, eventually joining the first cohort of the Human Movement Studies program.

Toufic has taught in diverse settings across Canada and Europe, sharing his approach with a wide range of communities—from structured facilities to experimental spaces.

Grounded in both academic study and lived experience, he continues to create spaces where movement becomes a path for connection, expression, and self-realization—a journey he walks alongside those he teaches.
