Our Story

Movement Circle was born from a simple truth: something essential is missing.

We live in a developed world where many of us feel isolated, disconnected, and unsure of where we belong.

We believe movement can help us remember.
Movement for us isn't the destination. It's the medium.

Not movement for aesthetics, performance, or achievement, but movement as a way to listen, to play, to express, to heal, and to reconnect with ourselves, with one another, and with life.

When Toufic committed his life to teaching movement, his intention was simple: to create a practice that helps people feel more alive. A space where curiosity replaces judgment, where the body is trusted rather than controlled, and where growth lives without pressure.

The path that followed became one of play, discovery, and continual learning.

Meet Toufic

Hello, I’m Toufic.

I’m really happy you’re here.

For over a decade, I’ve been following a simple question:

What is the body truly capable of?

That search led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, study with teachers around the world — including Ido Portal and Marcello Palozzo as part of the first Human Movement Studies cohort — and teach across Canada and Europe.

Today, Movement Circle is my way of sharing that journey: creating a space where people can move, learn, connect, and discover more of themselves through movement.

Our Practice

A Movement Circle session isn't choreographed, and it isn't about getting it "right."
We don't teach movement. We use movement to teach people about themselves.

It's a guided space to explore connections, with your body, the people around, the environment and your inner world.

Capacities, cognitive abilities, coordination, spatial configurations, ground movement, somatic inquiries, our approach to movement is diverse, drawing on some of the best ancient practices and practitioners and reminds us of the important of the body and health.

Our Philosophy

A Shared Practice

Movement Circle is more than a place to train. It's a community of people walking a shared path toward better movement, better living, and a deeper relationship with ourselves and one another.

We camp in forests. We share meals. We venture outdoors. We gather every week to practice, learn, and grow together.

Practice doesn't end when class is over. It lives in our conversations, our friendships, our adventures, and in the way we show up for one another.

Every moment, we're here for each other.

Join the circle.

Whether you're taking your very first class or have years of experience, we'd love to welcome you.

Come move, learn, play, and explore alongside a community of curious people.

Reserve a class and experience the practice for yourself.
