Biograpghy

Toufic Geagea is the founder of Movement Circle Montreal. He holds a BSc in Exercise Science and has spent over a decade moving through sports, fitness, improvisation, and dance — each chapter deepening his understanding of the body.

Eight years ago, an encounter with Ido Portal's movement philosophy changed the direction of his practice. It led him to Austria to study with Marcello Palozzo, where he joined the first cohort of the Human Movement Studies program.

He has taught across Canada and Europe — in gyms, studios, and experimental spaces — working with a wide range of people and communities.

Grounded in both academic knowledge and lived practice, Toufic continues to walk the path alongside those he teaches — creating spaces where movement becomes a means of connection, expression, and self-discovery.

“Movement is life’s original language, before words or stories. To move is to engage actively in the experience of life.”
