This three-hour introduction to contemporary clowning invites you to explore play, presence, and authentic expression through movement, improvisation, and human connection. Rooted in humanitarian clowning, it offers a space to rediscover curiosity, embrace vulnerability, and find freedom in the unexpected.
Rather than creating a character, contemporary clowning reveals the most human parts of ourselves: honesty, failure, wonder, and joy.
Whether you're an artist, performer, educator, or simply curious to reconnect with your playful self, this workshop welcomes everyone. No previous experience is needed—just bring your je ne sais quoi, and together we'll discover what helps you take the leap into the "cold water."

Facilitator
Youmna Moacdieh is a multidisciplinary artist, facilitator, and clown whose work explores play as a path to connection and transformation.
After six years performing and facilitating with Clown Me In in Lebanon, she developed a practice rooted in humanitarian clowning. Drawing from cinematography, theatre, psychology, and over a decade of teaching, she creates experiences that blend movement, storytelling, and improvisation to foster creativity, authentic expression, and meaningful human connection.
Her workshops welcome both performers and complete beginners, inviting participants to take risks, embrace play, and discover themselves through genuine connection.
